Date 1 (Day, video)
(It hadn't taken Roy long to figure out exactly how to use his Portal. Despite some of the more advanced aspects to it, it was easy enough to understand. His exploration of the device had been delayed, however, by the need to express his frustration upon his arrival--the remnants of which can be seen in the background behind Roy, as he turns the video on.
Plumes of smoke rise behind him, and a giant scorch mark displays where his flames had hit the wall just a few minutes before, when he had read the note on the end table and realized he had, once again, lost his chance to avenge his friend.
He's holding the paper now, his grip on it tight, and causing the paper to crinkle in between his fingers, as if, by doing so, he would be able to control his current emotions.
Finally, he begins to speak, his voice a low growl.)
"Be wary of the King and Queen," huh? (He crumples the piece of paper and sticks it into his pants pocket, leaving his hand there. It may be useful later, but he has more important matters to attend to.)
I don't have time to play these games. I suggest someone explain this situation to me quickly. Lieutenant, if you're here, I want you to report to me immediately.
(He's about to turn the Portal off, but he stops, pauses for a moment, and then slowly and darkly adds:)
That's right. I'm looking for a creature by the name of Envy. If anyone has heard or seen anyone that goes by that name, I would appreciate it if you informed me. The name is Colonel Roy Mustang, or the Flame Alchemist. Remember that.
(And he abruptly shuts off the feed)
