Akito! There's something on your mirror after all! [He doesn't want to leap to conclusions--which he has a way of doing sometimes--but he hopes that means what he thinks it means.]

[Since N is his friend, he doesn't bother to mask the wide-eyed look of shock that hasn't left his face since ending the feed.]

Un! Yeah... I was positive I was dead. I was stabbed so many times, ne? It's...

[He doesn't know if he wasn't dead, and just brought back to life. Again. Either way, it means they'll get to continue helping their friends.]

Stabbed? [N looks worried, briefly. He doesn't know who would do something so horrible as stab Akito, but he remembers Akito told him about a very cruel person.]

You must have been healed. I'm so glad you're all right. There as well as here. It looks like there's someone watching over you. [He smiles.]

Un, yeah. It didn't hurt as much as you would think though! [Actually, it probably did. He's just too used to pain to be phased by it much.]

There were enough people just outside that I guess we got treatment very quickly. [He purses his lips for a moment, expression first thoughtful, then mournful. It settles somewhere between happy and guilty.] I think my br.. father must have made sure I didn't die. I don't think he could have handled us dying again.

I'm impressed, stunned, and mildly suspicious. I arrived here about three months ago. Even having friends from home didn't help this much.

I don't have anyone here, so that's probably why I learned so much so quickly. If you can't rely on anyone else, you have to work extra hard to be self-sufficient, ne? [He laughs once, shortly; amused, but sad.] If my friends were here they probably wouldn't have bothered to learn as much as they could, and I would have taken their word on everything instead of researching for myself.

I just looked at the posts other new arrivals made and read the information everyone was giving them, so I didn't have to look very hard. It saved a lot of time, I think!

I didn't mind sifting through all the information when I first got here, but I think that was because it was something to focus on... I would have appreciated a video a lot though, so it made sense to make one.
