Day; Accidental Video with Ianto.
[ Ianto is on camera and seems to be keeping himself busy and Jack is visible in the background. ]
I can hear you, sir.
[ Jack's teasing, clearly teasing...can you hear it in his voice. ] Sir?
Well... We are at work, you know. [ He is clearly playing along. ]
[ Steps in, letting himself almost press against Ianto. ] Work? On your birthday? [ pauses briefly ] And here?
[ Eyebrow raise. He'd rather hoped it'd be forgotten just what today is. But there's no other outward recognition of it, he does sort of slightly move toward closer to Jack. ] Yes, just because it's my birthday does not mean there is still not any work to do.
I have other ideas. [ Yes, of course he does. He always does. ] New ones even. [ Grin. Moves a hand to rest on Ianto's arm. He raises an eyebrow in question. ]
[ Now, Ianto is slightly more interested, but he keeps his calm, poker face intact. ] Oh? Care to share with the class?
I'd prefer to show. [ He's going to lean in, and steal a kiss. ]
[ Ianto hesitates, only slightly - before he leans into the kiss. ]
[ Jack grins, pressing in close for a few moments before he pulls away, just barely. ] Happy birthday, Ianto.
[ Ianto, content to be held, rests his chin against Jack's shoulder briefly. ] Thank you. It's shaping up to be a very good one. [ A grin and he finally puts down the papers he'd been shuffling though. ] Maybe you should tell me more about those ideas of yours, yeah?
Show you, you mean? [ Still leaning in close, a grin on his face. ] Showing is so much more fun.
No arguments, here. Alright, then. Show me.
[ Close. ] I love you. [ His tone is so casual. ] I think we're being watched.
I - [ Ianto just stares at him. In fact, he very nearly drops the item in his hand. Surely Jack didnt just say that, did he? ] What?
I think we're being watched? [ Grin. ]
Yes. I heard that... wait, watched? I don't see... [ Spots the blinking red light of a Portal. ] Oh.
Oh. You meant -- When it's off, how about, yeah?
[ Ianto nods slightly and sighs, picking up the device. ] You saw nothing. [ He addresses whoever may be watching. And he flicks it off. ]
