[ A sick smile. ]

The price of disobedience in your perfect city? Your façade is failing you even with your mask, dear pawn of the game masters. [ Directed at Genero. ]

Oh, but façades are meant to be broken, aren't they? I did warn them of consequences. Apparently no one took them seriously.

A point well made.

Mr. Genero, your forcefulness does intrigue. Even though such a thing you might hope would serve as a warning just rallies the masses.

So it's a curious move to make, and it catches my attention.

If they rally, it only further proves them being hostile, ungrateful, mindless Terrors that need to be put in their place. Should more damage come from them, the King and Queen will be forced to intervene.

I'm thankful at least someone isn't at my throat with a "how dare you" threat. Those tend to get boring after a while.

I have no need to be. A punishment was served for a rule broken. And you made such a delicious show for me to watch; I was starting to get bored today.

But the fascinating thing is, this city doesn't bore me. Unless you have to get back to discipline, I wonder if you could spare a few moments to converse with me...?

I'm glad to entertain whomever I can, it's so rare to see people appreciate my work.

Of course, the boy is being monitored and watched already, and I have a few minutes to waste.

If it is not presumptuous of me, I would like to meet you.

I assure you I'm not in the mad crowd hustling to this video log, swearing vengeance at a little communicator. You seem interesting, and as you said, it must be rare to find one who can appreciate your work in this city.

A meeting would be fine- however, I would have to suggest it being on a premises in which the both of us would be comfortable in.

Then it is agreed.

That is fine with me- as it stands, you know the city better than I. Perhaps it would be best for you to pick a location.

Privately, of course.

Unless the thrill of a lynch mob is alluring to you.

Of course. I would suggest a location that is near the gardens, one that is away from prying eyes and open ears. The King ha made it for specific occasions such as this, and has no issue with it being used.

Then I shall meet you there. A time?

If you can wait a bit beyond half the day, then meet me before sunset. That way the King will know of our being there.
