[Video] Landing
[Oh, there was plenty of freaking out at first. After waking up in a strange room, the first thing Jin did was check for his cats, then look around for enemies. This wasn't his first time waking up somewhere without knowing how he got there. First he ran around the room, then he ran around house 15, then he ran around outside a bit, trying to get his bearings and try to remember just how he got here, where he was, and why a communicator that is clearly not of Earthly origins was sitting on the nightstand.]
[Unfortunately for Jin, it's daytime when he arrives, so he's quickly shooed back to the house with yells about a mask of some sort, and it's only once he's back that he can take a good look at the communicator. It's also then that he notices the mirror.]
[So, another hour of yelling at the mirror and trying to find a way through it and internal debates over whether to smash it to pieces. But all of that hasn't gotten him anywhere, so he returns to the communicator. It's not a recognizable design, but it's intuitive, so it isn't long before he can pull up the video function. The screen shows a somewhat frazzled, dark-skinned kid of about 18 with vibrant, tangerine hair and jade green eyes. He's also wearing a multi-colored scarf and a sky-blue t-shirt with some kind of design on it, so all in all he looks like he just got out of a rave. He peers into the the communicator's holographic screen, and when he speaks his voice sounds both chipper and desperate, if that's possible. He also talks fast, barely even pausing for breath.]
So, um, this is Jin Tian, and I think I'm broadcasting on all networks...I think anyway, this thing is kind of weird, but yes, anyway. I'm, uh. Not to sound crazy but I basically just woke up here and I have no idea where I am, and I know it's probably a bad idea to just like--announce that to everyone? But I'm kind of in a bind here! I tried to ask the townsfolk what was going on but they were freaking out about a mask or something? And I sure don't want to insult anyone by being culturally insensitive but I can't be culturally sensitive without knowing what culture I'm in, so, I figured--there must be someone out there listening who can just. Tell me like. Where I am and stuff! And how to go home? There's a super creepy mirror that's uh, well it's just creepy so yeah. I'm sure this is a nice town but I have lots of work to do elsewhere!
