"Ain't too Proud to Beg"
Today started out really dumb as usual, where I lie in bed and feel sorry for myself until 3 PM.
I really do have a bad case of insomnia. I just toss and turn until the birds start chirping, and then some. Which of course contributes to the above senario.
Anywho, tonight though, was pretty great. I saw the Temptations with my grandmother. I was probably the youngest, whitest person there. But did that keep me from standing up and clapping, singing along to all the classics. HELL NO.
Basically they are a very black, very old, boy band with simple cheesey moves, sweet backup vocals, and fantastic glittering suits. Basically heaven. Although there was actually only one sole survivor of the former original band members, and they had to Debbie Downer it with "God Bless America", it was still a fun show, and I'm glad I went. I never thought I would ever get that chance.
After the concert, we went to say goodbye to Costa, which was sad. I still can't believe he's leaving.
Then we ventured off to a dance party where I loved a lot of people, and now I'm eating an avocado at 4 in the morning, the end.
Oh yeah! And my boo comes tomorrow night. I can't wait. I've missed him so much, it hurts.
Aaaand, it's Mother's Day on Sunday and I have a wonderful mother who brings me flowers and cards and speggheti just because.
I need a job!
