I know a lot of people don't really read this thing anymore. In the way of online communities LJ is now one of the smaller ones, compared to when I got it when it was one of the only ones. Oh well

Wow, that's all I can say, thank you so much for sharing that with me. It's amazing how many lives my mother touched. A college drop out! changed so many lives.
It really proves to me that it doesn't really matter where you are in life but rather how willing you are to let God use you that matters.
I can't say I understand what you are going through, but I wish I could. You are a great person who is truly sincere and cares for anyone, you are always there for your friends and anyone who needs you.
It has been so long since we have talked but I really hope you find strength to get out and do what you have always wanted to do, like go to Western? I think your mom would want you to be happy.
And if you decide you want to hang out or do something..
Thanks Alyson, I'd love to hang out sometime! I was actually thinking about how we used to hang out all those years ago. SO MUCH has changed. I'm not as big of a jerk as I used to be.
What does your week usually look like? I'm unemployed right now so my schedule is pretty lax. It'd be nice to see you and catch up.
That's some pretty heavy stuff buddy. I really don't know what to say besides the obvious "sorry for yor loss/hope you feel better" jargon. I feel bad about that too. I wish I had some wisdom of some sort to offer you, all I can say is that if your mom believed what you believe spiritually, earth isn't the last place you will see her again. You're definitely a lot stronger then I am buddy, I'll tell you that much.
hey Brian. I know we come from pretty different places but it means a lot to me that you took the time to write what you did. I know you don't know what to say, I never knew what to say to people that lost someone they loved. I've learned just being there is enough, because that's all you can do, and even with you just writing something like this in LJ, I feel you're with me. So thank you.
NO problem buddy, and thank you. I have a lot of respect for you Paul, and I hate to read about ya suffering. Like I said, coming up with what to say is really hard, but I think saying something is better then just ignoring. Especially when your friends could really use a pat on the back/helping hand.
