(no subject)
basically, today was the best day i've had in a long time.
Kirbi and i went to the scottsdale museum of contemporary art, which was really cool. it was small and only two of the exhibits really interested me, but we still had a real good time.
then we drove to phoenix in search of a coffee shop she had read about and wanted to visit. on the way we saw this really cool vintage store so we stopped there to do some shopping! (we didn't actually buy anything...) then we finished the journey to the coffee shop and got nice coffee (i got tea) and pastries (mmm.) it was a really nice little place and we have every intention on going back soon.
around 5 and we came back to our side of town and went to a movie. we saw you me and dupree and it was cute, not great (i probably won't watch it ever again..) but it was a nice movie and i hadn't been to the movies in a looooong time.
then kirbi dropped me off at home and i did some cleaning.
i feel pretty good.
i'm excited for sunday.
we'll have to see what happens!
