"Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already? Yep. And then regulate and tax it like cigarettes and alcohol. Actually, I think pot should be legal and cigarettes illegal. How do you like THEM apples? :D" I was front row at an outdoor venue to see a band play. It was packed and I didn't want to lose my front row spot, so I discreetly lit up a cigarette. Body gave a shit, until the security guy that was sitting in front of the barrier nudged me and said, "I'm sorry, but you can't smoke up here, you gotta go to the back..." the audience within earshot all yelled "BOOO!!! THAT'S STUPID! LEAVE HER ALOOONE!" until he said, "No, I mean cigarettes! You can smoke the OTHER stuff up here, just no cigarettes!" and then everyone was like "YOU CAN SMOKE MY WEED INSTEAD IF YOU WANT!" lol! Even though I'm a smoker, I was really happy to hear that. Especially here in Oregon, the outlook of cigarettes and weed are completely different than in Evansville.
"Should assisted suicide be illegal? Yes" Another reason I love Oregon. We have the "Death with Dignity" act that passed a while back.
Your opinions on these topics are all the same as mine, which is why I couldn't stand Evansville any more and had to escape to a place where people thought more progressively. I do not regret my decision one little bit. :D
This time 10 years ago I had just finished watching my grandma die a very slow and painful death to lung cancer. I know for a fact that if she had lived a couple more days (she died New years day) til we kids were back in school, she would have ended it herself. She shouldn't have been made to live in pain and agony like that. We can euthanize our pets who cannot GIVE their consent but we deny that right to suffering humans? Sigh.
LOL so did i! I was agreeing with what you thought you were agreeing with, not what you actually said. XD http://www.oregon.gov/DHS/ph/pas/ I have a hard time believing that Indiana would ever get around to adding this kind of thing. Which is sad, because, you're exactly right. Everyone says, "It's humane to put your pet down and not let him suffer." but we are forced to suffer? It's absolute bullshit. And proof that there isn't separation of church and state, because the only reason it's illegal is that it'd be considered a sin. UGH.
