Summary: Kamenashi Kazuya, 24 years old is living his simple life with his family. Ahead of him is his childhood best friend Akanishi Jin, Japan’s top star but Jin doesn’t even recognize him after how many years of separation. And now, their paths will cross again, how will he make Jin remember him and what’s the reason behind Jin forgetting him?
A/N: My first attempt of making a Yaoi one. Hohoho.xD Hope you’ll like it. :] The story is inspired from the song entitled YOU ARE THE ONE. :] Maybe you should listen to it; it’s a nice song after all.
CHAPTER 17
“It would be better if I face reality that I abandoned for how many years.” Jin mocked as he walk on the busy streets of Tokyo thoughts scattered in the dark past that he remembered just a few days ago. “How? How will I do it? I’m afraid I might lose him if he found it out.”
Jin stopped when he heard a familiar voice, it was Kame’s mother talking to a woman around her age that somewhat looks like a vendor or what and is carrying a big grocery bags full of foods.
“Mrs. Kamenashi?” Jin greeted her and bowed, “It’s nice to see you.”
Mrs. Kamenashi bowed back and smiled lightly, “Akanishi-kun, it’s nice to see you too. What is an idol doing in the midst of the crowd without even using any protection or disguise?”
Jin just smiled and turned his eyes to the grocery bags and got it from her hands, “I’ll carry this, if you won’t mind.” He said, “Are you on your way home?”
“I wouldn’t mind at all. Thanks.”
They walk their way home. Jin felt really uncomfortable because of the fact that he hated the most - he’s father killed this woman’s husband.
“Anou..” Jin started breaking the silence, “Kamenashi-san, what if you’re hiding a big and dark secret to someone you love and you know that if he knows it, he’ll never forgive you, will you still tell it to him?” Jin asked.
Mrs. Kamenashi smiled, “What’s with the question, Akanishi-san? Are you in trouble?”
“N-no. Just wondering, trying to help this old friend of mine.” Jin answered a simple lie.
“Hmm. Let me see..” Mrs. Kamenashi stayed quiet for awhile before answering, “If your friend really loves that person and doesn’t want to tell the truth because he’s afraid of losing him then it will be more painful if he will find it from others and not directly from him right?”
Jin nodded, “So, you mean, it’s better if I tell him the truth? I mean if my friend tells him the truth?”
Mrs. Kamenashi nodded, “If you really love each other, even how painful that ‘truth’ is, you’ll end up being forgiven it might take a long time but you’ll be forgiven because he loves you and you must tell it to him in the simplest and most understandable way you can.”
Jin hesitantly nodded and thought if Kame still feels the same towards him or has it changed? He has been away and who knows, Kame might have fallen in love with someone.
“Just trust your love with each other, Akanishi-kun.” Mrs. Kamenashi said seeing how hesitant Jin seemed to be, “He’ll forgive you, I know it. He’ll avoid you and might hate you as well but he loves you more than anyone can imagine and he’ll forgive you after understanding everything. He loves you, remember that.”
Jin fell silent from her words. Kame loves him and will forgive him. He loves Kame and will make him understand the truth and accept it with him. They love each other - it’s what matters. “Wait,” Jin fought his thoughts of Kame forgiving him and remembering every words of Kame’s mom, “He loves you, remember that.” that were the last words of Kame’s mom.
He looked at her blankly, “You knew it?!” the words suddenly came out of his mouth before he could even realize and covered his mouth instantly.
“Knew the what?”
Jin sighed in relief, he thought Kame’s mom knows that he loves Kame and Kame loves him. “Nothing. Forget about it, just practicing my new song.”

Later that night on Jin’s apartment, he’s still battling if he will tell it to Kame or not? His problem is he doesn’t even know why his father did such an act and he needs to know it first but what if the reason is just pointless and may worsen the situation? But what if it will help him to make Kame understand why his father did it.
“So, I must first find my old man. But where on earth should I even start?”
He sighed as he thought of the time he needed to use just to find his father. “It might take long but I have to search for him in every man holes he can hide just to give me the reason why.”
He fished his phone out and dialed Pi and Ryo’s number and told them that he needed their help in helping find his father and fortunately though they’re both busies they can’t say no since Jin always helps them.
And so the true journey to find out the truth is about to start.

`YAY! Tomorrow's holiday since it’s the Inauguration Day of our Newly-elected President. So yeah, expect updates. :)
Hoho. And we’re required to watch it because our Social Studies teacher gave us an assignment to list down his cabinet members but since I’m hard-headed, Goodbye Assignments, Hello Cyberworld. :) hoho. Besides, my mom and grandma are there to watch and I can just copy the answers on my classmates. Hahaha
