I ended up turning blogspot into a hobbies and adventures blog. I feel weird posting all my personal shit on the internet now. Maybe that's growing up. I've started writing more in my physical journal that I've kept since high school. I like it more.

Update on life, if anyone cares:
Saving up is hard. I got $1300 back from my tax return and a $600 paycheck, it's almost all gone already. I bought a Macbook finally and a suit from H&M that fits perfectly and I look hella good in. I needed the suit for jury duty and a court date to fight my traffic ticket that I got on the way home from Jimmy Eat World weekend at Hayley's. I've been reading a book on the legal aspects and I feel confident that I can beat it. It's super interesting and sort of makes me want to go to Law school.

I think my hair stopped growing, it's barely at my collar bones which it's been at for a while. I'm about ready to give up on Locks of Love and just buzz my head for summer. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to move to Santa Cruz or Orange. I feel like I'd be regressing if I moved back to Orange.

I booked a show for the first time this past week with Call To Preserve, My Epic, Horizons, Rebuilt, Braveheart, and From The Depths of a Nightmare in a church basement. It was really awesome and I ended up making $40 after paying all the bands. So many people showed up. My Epic and Rebuilt ended up staying at my house. Allen and Brandon from Rebuilt hung out with me in my jacuzzi until 3 am talking about so many crazy things. It opened up a lot of doors for me to explore with my thoughts. Seattle people seem to feel exactly how I do. My Epic woke up early because they had to be in Pomona for Facedown Fest that day. Rebuilt woke up around noon and I took them to Christmas Tree Pass to show them hieroglyphics. Turns out their bassist posts on the same messageboard as I do and we already knew each other. It was so funny when we figured it out.

I don't know if I mentioned this in a previous post, but I started a Go It Alone record collection earlier this year and it's coming along really well. Expensive, but fun tracking down all the different presses and versions of one of my favorite band's records. Currently I have:

v/a Generations: A Hardcore Compilation (featuring Go It Alone, first press, red #/550)

I have so many more to track down, 25 records to be exact unless I found out about something else.

I'm still not in school. I really want to go back but it's not in the cards for me right now. I don't want to have to worry about money and stability while I'm in school. I want to put my full focus into my studies and work on days I don't have school. Plus, I don't even know what I want to go to school for yet. That's the most important thing, I think.
