back from the dead
Well it seems an age since I last updated livejournal probably because it has been. I would have done it earlier but I’ve been super busy in terms of holidays and my home computer has gone retarded for some reason and displays the page off centre….and I’m not computer literate enough to rectify the situation.
Well I suppose a condensed update of the past 7 or so months is in order.
1. Finished my Uni degree and am now an official teacher (start a job term 2)
2. Went to Europe for 2 months (mainly Great Britain which was awesome! If Australia ever becomes a republic I am going to live in England).
3. Went to Hawaii last week with my newly separated brother….bit unexpected to say the least.
4. Am off to the Holy Land on Thursday for 16 days.
My life for the past 7 months has felt like 2 months it has just gone so fast….I’m going to be 23 this year and I feels as though I just turned 21 which is scary, lol. I suppose it’s better to feel this way than to think, ‘what have I done with my life so far?’……hopefully now I won’t have a quarter-life crisis.
I think the highlight was definitely the Great Britain tour which is my idea of a perfect holiday, even though it was in winter and the coldest I have ever been. I just loved the castles and villages and cheeriness despite having the most depressing weather lol. I have to admit it was awesome coming back home to the sun and a BBQ, but I’m planning my next trip there soon.
I don’t know when I’ll update again seeing how I’ll be pretty busy with school up until December 19th (then I’m off to USA) but I always seem to make time for unimportant things when I’m really busy…I seem to be able to justify to myself that updating livejournal or Facebook are urgent daily tasks.
