I GOT THE JOB!
I can hardly believe it. I'm still in shock. I couldn't sleep last night I was so excited!
I now have a part-time legal secretary position with Mark Godbey & Assoc.!!!!

HELLO LEGAL CAREER!
First, this is going to be wonderful experience. I'm going to see exactly how a law firm runs. I'm going to be typing legal documents, running errands to the courthouses, and networking with Cincy attorneys.
Mr. Godbey is so nice, and is completely supportive and understanding of my legal education. We both feel like this is the perfect fit for me. He himself said that he can't imagine anyone working full-time through law school (though plenty do it - ouch!). So I'll be working 20-25 hours a week, most likely 12/1-5, then going to school three nights a week. This leaves me time to concentrate on school work. It's perfect.
I really believe in things happening for a reason. Call it fate. Call it kismet. Call it faith. Call it whatever you want. But things work out. Even when you're in the deepest despair and you don't know what to do. All you can do is try, give your best effort, and trust that things will get better. Things will be ok. Things have a funny way of working out.
So I give P&G my 2 weeks notice on Monday, and then start Monday July 3rd. I can hardly wait. And the sweetest bit of all? I have a scheduled vacation from Thursday - Thursday -- so I only have 2 1/2 days at P&G left!! It came to an end so suddenly. Phone call to inquire about the position on Wed. Scheduled the interview Thurs. Interviewed Friday at 3 and got the news at 5:40 that I had the job!
So yes. I got the job. I feel like I've closed a chapter in my life and I'm opening a new one. I'm ecstatic. High Fives all around :-D
