So! At the end of all that, I wrote roughly 11'600 words. I came away with several new story ideas, more confidence in my writing, and a cool Nanowrimo 2007 T-shirt :D I didn't go nearly as insane as everybody else seems to go over this. I'll have to take it more seriously next year, because I'm gonna do it again and again until I reach 50'000 words in 30 days. >:D
If anyone's interested in reading my drivel novel, such as it is, I'll send it to you. :D It's 19 pages long, 3 chapters, all of which start with a long, descriptive sentence of what happens in the following chapter. Hey, I had to get more words somehow. :P Chapter 1, in which Miss Amelia meets her aunts and is invited to Scotland, she meets Mr Valancourt, an aviator, and finds a very mysterious book. (I completely stole the idea with the dragons from Naomi Novik's brilliant book, His Majesty's Dragon.)
