Ruby stretched slowly on the bed, shifting so that she was curling into Sam a little more and tilting her head up a bit to watch him sleep for a while. The first day had been full of frantic phone calls and worries about Michael. The calls became less, especially as Michael told Sam to lighten up and trust him and just relax.

Days went by and it was nice to just not have to worry so much. Things started to distract him. Ruby took great pleasure in finding ways to distract him. He even found himself smiling more than he had in a long time, and enjoying the hours he was awake.

Sleep had been nice. The nightmares were gone, and for the first time in almost a decade Sam found himself dreaming something good. He moaned softly as Ruby shifted in his arms. "Baby, not yet..." he mummered, shifting a bit in bed. "... Mikey's sleepin'..."

She chuckled slightly, before kissing his jaw line lightly. "Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere." She wasn't going to break the mood for him, and she was just going to stay as close as she could.

His smile grew and he leaned his head back into the pillows. His fingers gently gripped her body, pulling her closer while his eyes never opened.

She settled in against him, relaxing and tracing soft slow lines against his side, just enjoying the quiet time with him.

Slowly he woke up, but he didn't open his eyes. He brought his hands down to gently takes hers though and brought them a bit higher. "No tickling."

"Ummm, maybe." He cracked open his eyes long enough to tilt his head correctly to kiss her.

She smiled into the kiss, keeping it slow and soft to go with the just waking up kind of mood.

He kissed her a few more moments before finally pulling back and smiling. "morning..." he said softly, reaching up to push some hair out of her face.

"Best sleep I've had in years," he said, wiggling a bit to get further under the covers. "Warm bed, vacation resort, and this hot girl in my arms. Really can't ask for more, can I?"
