Today I saw Michelle. Apparently she's a grad student at Stanford studying Electrical Engineering.
We wouldn't have been in the same place at the same time, but I left a few hours early to take my cat to the vet & didn't park my bike where I normally do, so I was walking in a highly-traveled zone. Weird.
Not two weeks after she had a hunk taken out of her ear, and just 2 days after I finally let her outside again Katie (my cat) somehow got a thorn in her eye. And I mean *in* her eye. The vet said she'd never seen something that big inside a cat's eye.
