At least the live version. And obviously the Japanese one, because the Taiwanese version has a different title.
Anyhoots.
I really had no interest in downloading this series. My sister has prodded me five times to go get it, but I was just 'ehhh' about it. But somehow, through some stroke of boredom coupled by heat, I downloaded the first episode yesterday and watched it with my sister. I think I also wanted to see the Japanese version of the F4.
She was excited. I went to take a shower first (had to get ready for work) and at one time she came into the bathroom and was all "HURRY UP!!!"
You know, there's this part where the F4 makes a grand entrance and they get about two to three seconds of solo screen time -- complete with soft, blurry lights around them? So...skipping the first two guys (why must Japanese names be insanely long and hard to recall, and therefore, hard to pronounce?) because I can't remember batshit about them --
Fine. I admit that I wanted to see Oguri Shun as Rui. He looked the part, and for the duration of the first episode? OMG, I'm charmed. It doesn't help that I'm somewhat partial to the character, thanks to the Taiwanese counterpart.
Sister's side comment: What's with the skinny jeans?
Moving on! So, even if my sister doesn't say anything to confirm it, I think she is somewhat fascinated with MatsuJun, because c'mon, he was quite attractive in Gokusen (although my sister was all "OMG WHY IS HIS TEETH CROOKED?! Ewww.")
His solo screen time comes up...we both wait, holding our breaths in anticipation...
Sis: OHMYGOD. Why does he look like that?! His hair is awful!
Sobrang mas nakakatawa sa Tagalog: OMG. Ano yan?! Anong nangyari sa kanya? ANG PANGET!
Cue me laughing so freaking hard that I had to pause the video. I think I laughed for a good five minutes. She even went, "Oh, at least his teeth is fixed on this one."
Lordy, she slays me sometimes.
The second is at 94.7% right now, and I'll be putting up the third episode on queue before I go to sleep.
And for the record, we prefer our MatsuJun in that hair style. *points to icon*
OOH. And there is also a Narnia: Prince Caspian production (video) blog by Andrew Adamson! There's a part that shows the Pevensies being filmed, except they are as tiny as ants, and I could only make out that, from left-to-right, it's Edmund, Peter, Susan and Lucy, by their heights.
And to end this with complete randomosity, I would like to try some absinthe, just to see what the fuss was/is about.
