sunday, it's a sunday!

Jul 09, 2006 18:50

I have a psych exam, a clinical exam and that 'interview by the personnel' thing at Philippine Heart Center tomorrow and on Tuesday, so I'll be offline for those days. For those at np_hogwarts, er, is the Firstie Heist going on in those days? Eep, I hope not. Nino and I have started and finished making the diuretic potion IG too.

Today was the sister's birthday, and she was being a major bitch in the entire of it. She asked permission to go out again with the same set of friends yesterday (Saturday) because, as she reasoned, it was her birthday anyway and she wanted to treat her friends. She wasn't allowed, of course. It hasn't even been a month since the last bad incident and she hasn't exactly shown anything worthy of commendation. I don't know and understand why she's asking, and why she has the audacity to be all sulky and impolite to my father because of it.

Dad has been away from the house since Monday and have arrived Friday night because he's been assigned to a different place which is too far to drive to and from the house. So he's staying on a place provided by the company during work days and will come home for the weekend. This week has been his first, and it wasn't exactly fun for him. So I'm just really annoyed and appalled and so near to slamming my sister's head on the wall for ignoring him and just shrugging and shit when he talks to her.

This morning, Mum went to wake her up for our usual Sunday thing (church, lunch out, then grocery shopping/going to the mall) and she refused to wake up. Five minutes after Mum left the room, I couldn't take her shit anymore and told her to
     - stop pretending to be asleep and get the fuck up because it's 9:20 AM and the service starts at 10.
     - stop feeling as if our parents owe it to her to be nice and sweet and talk to her because they didn't allow her to go with her friends
     - that she better be ashamed if she plans to not go to church just to prove a point and continue with her tantrum
     - "Is this what you learn from your friends? Because it's something an insipid person does your friends are no-good fucktards." She responded with 'as if I know her friends better' to which I replied, "Yes I do. B, for example? Her behaviour is foul." And B goes to our house often, so she can't say I don't have a basis for that.
     - "You said you wanted me to behave like an older sister? That's what you've been telling our cousins, right? Well I'm telling you now -- you're being a bitch and an asshat and you have no right to feel as if our parents owe it to coddle and sweet talk you out of your bad mood. AND STOP PRETENDING THAT YOU'RE ASLEEP BECAUSE YOU'RE TALKING TO ME SO OBVIOUSLY YOU'RE AWAKE!" It actually sounded better in Tagalog.

Enough of my sister. I am getting all worked up and enraged just recalling that. Anyway, to celebrate the occasion, we ate at Saisaki and I, as usual, had a lot of salmon sashimi, epi tempura, sushi (california maki, kani, and...some other thing I don't know but it tasted nice anyway) and...oh, I suck. I rarely went through the Western dishes. We also asked around for the price of a 1 GB RAM for my laptop. That's finally getting somewhere.

Oh, BTW. I can't remember who wanted to do this the last time (I think it was x_taintedblack but July 12-of-12 is just around the corner. Twelve pictures for the 12th of July! More information here. The bonus picture is now based on what the word generator will spew out here. I'll be out of the house on the 12th and will watch Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest on the first day, so WHEE! Possibly with friends too, so yeah.

I forgot to mention this, but speaking of x_taintedblack...Joie! xkariyafanx has been working well exposing me to KAT-TUN! XD I like the three songs she's given me...can't list them now because my cousin has my iPod. How's the new Arashi album? :D

Cousins are here!

ETA: Eee! Just a week after the news of a Narnia Extended Edition DVD, UltimateDisney.com has this news --

Those attending the annual fanboy festival Comic-Con in San Diego later this month will be treated to a first glimpse at never-before-seen footage from the upcoming limited edition "director’s cut" DVD, hosted by Narnia producer Mark Johnson. The event will take place on Saturday (July 22) at 3:45 in Hall H, with attendees being treated to exclusive collectibles from Narnia and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, which shares the hour with an insider’s look at visual effects.

Does this mean we'll have this DVD soon? :D I can't wait for news on what that never-before-seen footage is!
