I get to have time to ramble, so here I am.

- Hospital training was fairly well today. This guy who I've spent most of my RLE days with for a year or two was in the ward I was assigned in so there wasn't much tense what-am-I-supposed-to-be-doing air. And our senior was nice enough to teach me about admitting patients (it's so much more than the patient getting to their bed/room, oy) because OMG, their Kardex is used a real lot unlike in UST where I graduated from.

Also saw some people from church, which was a little funny because we were all surprised to see one another there. Heh. One of the choir members was admitted and this woman, one of the members of the church council was there as well so they were like "oh wow, you're here!"

- The guy aforementioned said I seem to have lost some weight. Woo, go me! The last time he saw me was around a year ago and I gained a huge amount of weight earlier this year. It's nice that I shed off that excess weight plus some more stuff from last year...all the work was not in vain! XD Hopefully I can still continue with this for another month (I've started a month ago with no diet except avoiding in-between meal snacks) and lose a lot more. It's a real good encouragement because I feel absolutely bloated lately (probably a PMS thing though) and thought nothing was coming out of my hard work. I don't check my weight because I just want to be surprised when I check it after another month and see how much I lost. :D

- I had a really great plan all laid out for tomorrow's Narnia DVD release but it involved my mom being on duty at the hospital. I just found out awhile ago when she got home that she's on off duty so now I have to formulate a new one! Arggghhh. I'm 2-10 PM duty tomorrow so I'm planning on getting it around 11:30 AM and then just go straight to the hospital after, but I don't want to carry all the stuff I bring for hospital work to the work. It's enough that I'll be in uniform looking ugly shit (I hate nursing uniforms), but lugging around a bag where I keep my cap, BP apparatus, stethoscope plus my dinner? And I need to take lunch too. Baahhhh. I think I'll just leave really early (around 10 AM) then head back home. /musing aloud

ETA: OMG, scratch that. I just called up the video store and now they have a different answer! The last time I called, someone said confidently that they'll be getting the two-disc special edition but now the person I talked to said they weren't sure because the DVDs will only be delivered tomorrow. Tomorrow! What time am I supposed to be going there then?! Ugh ugh ugh. It would've been oh-so-simple if my mum was on duty, but noooo, she had to ruin everything. Blah.

- I still have 6-7 DVDs to watch and 2 books to read so I think I'll pop a video later after I do some bit of exercising. :D

- BTW, I saw Howl's Moving Castle and my friend and I (we saw it separately) both agree that it's utterly more preferable than Mononoke-hime. It's just odd because a lot of Miyazaki fans seem to prefer Mononoke more than Howl's Moving Castle. If you've seen both of the movies, which one do YOU prefer? :)
