Is it true that they're thinking about making all of LJ accounts paid? That would be really really lame. I think a lot of people do use LJ because there is an option of a free account. I mean jeez, how much does LJ need more money? I mean, depending on how much it costs MAYBE I'll pay for it, but most likely not, because I write in here on such a sporadic basis these days.
Anyways, I like the warm weather. I went disc golfing yesterday, despite the muddiness. Carli and I put up pictures on Facebook of the grand exposition. Party at Carli's tomorrow, some late Pi day/early and late St. Patrick's day escapade. And I'm going to get started on ANOTHER game (Fiery) because that's what I totally need - more distraction from school work.
I went to my group meeting for people who just got into the MSU School of Education, and it's made me wonder about my future, and growing up and such. I still have this fear of growing up and becoming someone I don't like under the pressure cooker of society. I'm not sure if I'll budge or not. Also, I kind of want to work in a more urban or even rural area because I've only had experience in suburbia. My mom would maybe let me work in rural areas, but urban is out of the question in her eyes. She's afraid I'm going to get shot or something. I wish she would just let me try. If everyone's mom or whatever stopped teachers from working in the ghetto, who would be there to help? I'm thinking I just am going to go ahead and do it anyways, but how? Any suggestions? And considering my rebellious side, her not wanting me to do it is actually making me want to do it MORE... all I want is a good, all around experience as a teacher. I don't think that's much to ask, is it? I like my inner rebel and I would like to keep it if I could. :P
On another note, I'm catching up in school (I think)! Yay! I would like to get everything 3.0 or higher this semester to make up for my earlier semesters that have been not very stellar. That would be AWESOME. So much to improve on, not only just for school... is there enough time to get it done? I really hope so.
