(no subject)
mmm, this past weekend was perfect:) I got out of work at noon on Friday, packed and shopped for camping. Stacie, Mike, Sange, Chad, Brianna and I went to this park that's only about 15 minutes from the crib, but it's mine and Timmy's favorite place. We made it simple this time, only bringing the tent, sleeping bags, food and liquor. It was especially nice for me because I'm the one who cooks the big fatty dinners when we have them, and it's not as easy to do on a campfire. This time I bought sandwich meat, couple different cheeses, and tons of dry snacks. We walked around and took the trails around the lake, caught some big ass froggies, then got twisted by the fire. The next morning it was absa-fuckin-lutely beautiful outside....sunny, warm, but not too warm. We spent the entire day by the lake, swimming, catching frogs and turtles, eating ice cream, tanning, just chillen! Everyone said it was one of the best trips we took cause we kept it simple and everyone had a really good time. Timm and I should have left the campground a lot earlier cause we were supposed to go to a wedding, but we were having so much fun, and our friends were giving us shit for leaving, so we decided to stay and I'm glad we did:) We finally went home around 10, and took our post camping showers. A shower never feels as good as it does when you come home from camping! I swear. We put our jam jams on and laid on the couch and chilled. On Sunday we both pitched in and cleaned the house and did the laundry, went shopping, and I made dinner because we had been living on junk food all week (I wont turn the oven on when it's so hot like this) It was nice to have a real, home-cooked meal again! We went swimming after dinner to cool off, and I swear I felt my body temperature plumet when I hit the water.
It's hot as fuck outside again today, but it's supposed to cool off later in the week. Timmy is off parole on the 10th of this month! So I gotta plan some sort of get-together. I don't know what to do tho, so I better get on it!
