(no subject)
I'm taking my nanner butts swimming after work today. I went over there yesterday and she was hanging all over me and whining that I don't play with her enough. So I'm gonna go scoop her after work and take her to my place so we can either swim indoors or out, or go play on the beach. It's hillarious to see the look on her face when I tell her she can swim by Mandy's house. She's excited, but you can tell she's a little confused. lol. After we're done and I take her home, I gotta stop by my mom's to pick up a hanging basket she bought me. I wonder what kind it is...(?) I've been wanting one to hang out on the balcony, along with the other stuff I want out there. I gotta get it all set up by the weekend cause Alicia and Kain are coming over on Saturday and they're brining the baby, so we're gonna have to smoke outside. My mom also bought me these lights awhile ago...they're dope as hell! They're Christmas lights with large, clear, plastic flower attachments for each bulb. When the colored light shines through, it looks like a glowing rose. I'm going to try to string them in a way that there will be one rose sitting atop the railing every couple of inches. Then I just need some chairs and a little table. Eventually I'm going to buy a nice set with cushions and shit, but for now the white plastic ones will have to do!
I can't wait for Saturday now! Alicia called me at 7:30 this morning to make plans. I told her to come hungry cause I got paid and I wanna cook. She said she wanted to cook too, so I said, it's summertime, we need to put some arrachettas on the gril and she goes, you read my mind! I don't know if anyone else has ever heard of them, but it's really just fajita meat prepared a certain way. The cut of meat is thin, tenderized steak that you soak in lime juice and Adobe seasoning. It tastes like the best warm, tender beef jerky you'll ever have:) Then we use the goat cheese and wrap it up in a tortilla. Licia is making Spanish rice and beans, and Juan can cook fried bananas, so we are going to GRUB! Between the four of us, it is our very favorite meal so we get geeked to make it:) mmmm, my tummy is rumbling!
