(no subject)
A month of Harry and Draco. Delish! Come drabble about our pretty boys here over at dyno_drabbles! Sign ups are open for one week and then we have three weeks for drabbley goodness for you. January is shaping up to be yummy!
CH update
First, can I just say that feel like that person who keeps saying they are going to do something and then not following through. I feel like an asshole. And then, I feel like an egotistical asshole thinking that you are all waiting with baited breath *rolls eyes at self* It's been well over two months, you are managing, I am sure. So, now that I have established that I feel like an asshole, I also feel compelled to share that I have made it through the scene that was kicking my ass. For four solid days, I lived, breathed and ate this scene, re-worked it at least four times, and finally finished it. It has some moments that I really like, but overall it feels a little fluffy to me, but if it's going to be refined, it will have to be at a later date. I just can't look at it anymore. So, where does that leave me? I could post just the one scene, it certainly is long enough. But that just doesn't feel right, so I am going take just a little longer and write more.
I'd like to send a special shout out to slytherinswench who helped me tremendously last night with it. I was struggling and she was up and offered, and ironically, just asking is what gave me the drive to get through it. lol. Weird how that works. In the 12 Step programs there is a saying about doing the footwork and the rest will follow (or something like that - it's been 14 years). I can't tell you how many times I've seen that idea in action.

I've discovered the culprit behind some of the forbiddenawards nominations. *beams at mareen_manuela* She's also shared that she is posting CH on http://www.harrypotter-xperts.de/ for a total of three German archives! And I have to share part of a review she translated because the working is fantasitc: "but I have to vent out my rapture:WOW! just wow!"
vent out my rapture. fucking love that! Once in a while I manage to answer the German reviews, and I will certainly answer this one, but I am soooo behind in my review answering at GE. Apparently people REALLY liked the last chapter and now I can't keep up. *le sigh*
Okay, I have to run. I had more to share, but Mr. Ilke distracted me and now I forget.....
