Not after the never-ending nights in that freezing tent.
Not even after that Horcrux brought out every horrible part of him.
Not even after he abandoned them.
Abandoned her.
Because he had come back.
And saved Harry, so that he could save them all.
Because he'd tried to save her from the unbelievable pain of the curse at Malfoy Manor.
Because he'd cared enough to free house-elves during the final battle.
Because he stood next to her when rubble had flown all around them.
Because her touch had been enough to settle him when he only saw red at his brother's death.
Because in the midst of it all, he had kissed her back.
