*sigh* love when memes are actually accurate. I don't know how quirky I am, but I AM simply happy.
So, I had a little rant yesterday. (Yes, I know that contradicts my previous statement about happiness. But y'all know I don't rant often so...heh, I'm just normal.) Anyway, it occured to me (much too late) that I didn't even acknowledge New Years. What a jerk I am.
Happy New Years my luvs! I hope 2009 is a wonderful year for you all. Full of the best kinds of changes - what ever you need in your life to lead you toward balance and fullness. 2008 has been so interesting for me: starting to write and my introduction to the world of fandom, and most importantly to all of you. I feel like we have a lovely group of people here and I can't wait to get to know you all even more in 2009!

So New Year's Resolutions - yeah, I don't do them either. But I do make a theme for the new year. Actually, this one has sort of naturally shown itself. For the last week or so, the urge to pare down, purge, free ourselves from all the STUFF, has been strong. Mr. Ilke and I have been organizing and sorting and purging for the last few days and it feels great. At 11:45pm last night, Mr. Ilke and I were in the basement (learning to print - all of its hot! sorry B52s moment) building shelving from the deck we tore out of our yard. Yay house projects! So, that's the theme: STREAMLINE.
CH update: Struggling with the opening scene. *sigh* I swear if I don't get through this chapter by Friday, I'm going to freak out. Maybe hire someone else to write it! lol! *another sigh*
