Being bored at Tech
Woot! I am right now siting in my brother's dorm room at VT. It's Fall Break at JMU this weekend, which means just one day off from classes. And I didn't want to go back home To Norfolk. Not yet. I managed to hitch a ride here, which is awesome, and the guy who is driving me back as well is really cool. He told me he comes here often because his girlfriend lives here, so if I ever need another ride, I can just contact him and see if he's going. Meeting up with Sarah for lunch today. I'm so excited, I haven't seen her in two months. I just hope the bro comes back soon. I'm sick of not having anything to do, and I don't know where anything is around this camps. I'm to use to JMU now.
The first symphony concert went well overall. Only a moderate turnout in the audience, but that's because we can never get enough publicity for the Symphony Orchestra. And the people I tried to have come ouldn't, either they had homework, forgot about it, or just couldn't come. Hell, quite a few people don't even know JMU has a School of Music, let alone a symphony orchestra. Well it has been a good week in general. I have a A in all my classes except 1 for my midterm grades. That includes a perfect 100 in Ear Training. Yes I am that good. Actually I just think the stuff we've been doing is really easy. I even got a 100 on the sightsinging test. I thought that was great. It's been fun being able to develop my singing voice well. THe only class I have a C+ in is my critical thinking class, but that's because I don't speak enough in class, and I didn't have the best start with the first few assignments. Oh well, I'm gonna work my ass off to improve the grade. I wish I could find out my garde in psych class, I think I have an A, but it hasn't been posted yet. Well I'm gonna go get lost on campus trying to find the practice rooms. I need to do some work on the piano.
