work
work has been different than i thought. I have been "building" a tougher outer shell I guess you can say. I am forced to leave my emotions at home everyday I get in my ambulance. Its been hard to figure that out because I have always been a caring person. Not to say i cant care about my patients, but when Im on scene I have to understand this is THEIR emergency and I have to be calm, collected and focus on the job without my feelings getting in the way.
In my short time working with AMR, I have already seen a lot of stuff most people would never see, hear, touch and smell. Its in interesting world out there.
At least I've only lost one guy, almost two, but he barfed up all the pills, ya.
