in oxford at nick's. this city is so quaint. he lives with three others, including sofia from leon. i think they're all going to come visit me in spain--we've been practicing spanish.
his friends are so interesting. of the american rhodes scholars there's a girl named heather, an analytical philosophy phd student who's an athiest but goes to catholic mass because she likes hearing about how she's a sinner, etc.
we've been pub hopping a lot...there are more pubs than any other type of establishment. yesterday we walked a while through this meadow that hasn't been plowed in 900 years to the trout.
there was a group of men wearing white tunics with red crosses on them, and one guy in a bishop's outfit. they were drinking and smoking and one of them was a little too jolly with drink and proceeded to "knight" me and another guy i was with. he kept coming over to talk to me and kept trying to pressure me to drink. he got a little touchy feely and his friends tried to pull me away. h e said their party was a bachelor party (they call it a stag party) and the bishop was getting married in two weeks. i found out this guy was married with two children. at one point he kisses me on the cheek, say "i have to say this. you're lovely, absolutely lovely. you will do anything you want in the world." later he passed by and grabbed my ass.
there's also this bar called freud's (frevd's--ha.) it's an old church converted into a bar but apparently it still has christ being crucified up on a wall.
