after that initial bout of lonliness, i've turned around and fallen in love.
i hope i get the internship in london, i have to live here.
yesterday evening i returned to my hostel and met nat, a 19-year-old drama student in london who was waiting for her apartment lease to start. we argued about the difference between biscuits and cookies ("that's a HOB NOB, not a bloody cookie!") and walked in the rain discussing black pudding and comparing my british accent to her american one. i adore her. she's living my dream.
then today i hung out with my other roommate, rhos from liverpool. my feet hurt, we did so much walking. we went on the eye of london and ruined our group's photo by making fish faces. i bought skinny jeans, even though i am not skinny enough to be wearing them. we saw the changing of the guards and i found a head of cabbage on the road in front of big ben and got a cool photo.
i need to call everyone, i'm in another world.
right now i'm in the basement of my hostel talking to this indian guy from cali.
