This week we finally get Snow and Regina's backstory and we finally learn why the Queen hates her so. This wasn't a bad episode, the actual details seemed a tad predictable though. Let's get into it.
So Regina who once upon a time used to be young and full of love was carrying on a liaison with Daniel the stable boy who to me looks like a cross between David Bowie and Brandon Routh (Not a bad thing!) We learn that her mother Cora is a biiiitch with magic and wants Regina to marry someone with a better standing than what she herself has. We also learn that Cora's mother was a miller's daughter, mmmhmm.
One day while out riding, Regina saves wee!Snow from her runaway horse. Awww wee!Snow is so adorable and she looks so much like Ginnifer and it gives me warm fuzzies watching them hug.
So obviously Cora wants her to marry Snow's dad, but still she loves Daniel. She goes to him and Snow sees them together and runs off crying. Regina asks Snow to keep it a secret and Snow says sure but of course Cora learns from Snow this detail and goes to off Daniel.
Yeeeah this is where logic gets fuzzy people. I get it Regina, I really do. You lost your boy but blaming everything on Snow? She's a kid, what did you expect? Little thing probably thought she was doing what was best. Another annoying thing is that Regina when she went eevil put up with Snow and her dad for ten years. Surely there was a point when they went riding together and Regina could have pushed Snow off her horse. What I'm getting at here is why did you wait so long to exact your revenge, Regina? And why aren't you placing more blame for this on your mom, the actual person who killed Daniel?
Phew, that was long. So what happened in Storybrooke this week?
+ Regina told Snow, I know you're innocent, but you're going down bitch.
+ King George was the DA, hee that was awesome!
+ Emma and August were being investigators which is also awesome.
+ Emma reading the book :D
+ Kathryn being you know, ALIVE!
There are so many people who think August is Pinocchio, he's not though. How do I know this? Because we have seen Pinocchio in both FTL and in Storybrooke, he is not August. He's a little red headed kid that is in Mary-Margaret's class.
The next episode looks so good, I think it will be revealed that August is in fact Bael, Rumplestilskin's son.
We have to wait three weeks though D:
