I Love It

Isn't it peculiar how gods have no power over you if you don't believe in them?

There are Gods who are no longer worshipped. These usually vengeful gods don't seem to be doing much of anything to us though to demand our fealty. What gives? This is why we pretty much see ancient religions like the ones rampant in Egypt,  Greece and Rome to be myths ( Read more... )

Yays a reply (finally! :P)

Where on earth did I get Ethidist from? Then again I rarely hear the word Atheist, so I probably got myself confused. Ain't the first time, hehe!

What you said there completely summons me up to. I believe in nature and earth, and as science revolves around this, I firmly believe in science. I definitely believe in the circle of life, too.

Funny how tribal beliefs are more believable than the main ones, hey?

And yes, I think that's why I cry out, too. For there to be something other than just what is around us. This is probably why I dream alot, too. I love fantasy - funnily enough more than science fiction (I still do love it though, and I guess it depends if it's believable enough, and actually interesting to me) and one of my problems is I am always daydreaming, wishing for magic to be real. However, I continually get frustrated, and after a while I fall into this hopeless rutt where I feel so pathetic, life feels pathetic, and I wish for something more though (the most strong feeling in this rutt) I know in this deep hardening way that it could never happen.

That's how I felt after watching Wolf's Rain. Last year it was Fullmetal Alchemist, and most usually it is Harry Potter, or as I've said before, Peter Pan that really send me like this.

Damn reality.
