Passion versus Sanctuary
Thanks to Penny Arcade I was alerted to the fact that the english version of the song Passion (which is the opening theme song for Kingdom Hearts 2) is now out and about. It is titled Sanctuary. Without delay I searched and downloaded it in eager anticipation.

Clearly the Pros' outweigh the Cons' in the Japanese version, and clearly the Cons' outweight the Pros' in the English version so in conclusion I shall tell you that the English version sucks compared to the Original Japanese version. Compared to Simple and Clean which was the Kingdom Hearts opening song Sanctuary is an utter flop. That says something because I am not a fan of Simple and Clean. Hikari, which is the Japanese version of Simple and Clean is also a song which I don't really have much adoration for. So I am a lover of Passion from Kingdom Hearts 2, who can't stand to see the English version of this great song sucking so much.
I can't see why there is a need for an English version. There's plenty of games that don't get English cover versions for their songs if they are in Japanese originally. Suteki da ne a prime example, from Final Fantasy X. But then again... Kingdom Hearts is mainly a Disney endeavour. Ok.... that explains everything.
Tomorrow Daylight Savings ends. It should have ended last weekend but because of the Fucking Commonwealth Games they didn't. You can't hold back something like Time for the sake of sport! It makes me angry! These new Unfair Dismissal Laws also make me mad. I hate the Liberals, I fucking hate them! Die John Howard! Die! Die Rupert Murdock! Die! Die Tony Abbot! Die!
