Sakasama no chou.mp3 5MB by SNoW

here is a mysterious message board which is only open at midnight. People can go and write about people they want to take revenge against. If they are lucky Jigoku will deal out the revenge and send the offending party to hell for eternal torment. But as payment the person who asked for the revenge will go to hell as well when they die. That is the trade off. Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) is an interesting anime. The art style is beautiful. The show has a horror atmosphere to it and yet it is so rich with Japanese culture. A real delight. I am hooked on the opening theme Sakasama no chou (Upside-down butterfly).

-Someday, the upside-down butterfly going towards the light-
-Will be with you in the mirror as you cut your hair-
-Echoing footsteps in the hallway during class-
-The sound of the constant rain follows-

-The shape I feel sometimes is radiant-
-It will become a sweet flower and a poisonous fruit-
-Today’s also rainy, that day and now-
-Wanting to connect them, sky and sky-

-In this craziness, uncertainty-
-Where can we leave these feelings of each and every person behind?'-
-In this craziness, you gave me life-
-This one feeling, how long can we protect it?-

-Do you remember that upside-down butterfly?-
-The exchanging of mail is endless-
-It's ok to be swept away as long as you can swim-
-People’s voices are always like waves-

-I communicate the way I believe in this melody-
-The gentle rhythm makes me want to cry-
-The constant rain, I want to think it’s continuing towards the future-

-In this craziness, uncertainty-
-Where can we leave these forms of each and every person behind?-
-In this craziness, you gave me life-
-This individual form, how long can we protect it?-

-There are some feelings that refuses to turn into words-
-No matter how much someone streches out their hand-
-There are places inside people that can’t be reached-
-Because I love these feelings of each and every person that can't be spoken out,-
-Even if it doesn't turn into something, it will remain unchanged forever-

-In this craziness, uncertainty-
-Where can we leave these feelings of each and every person behind?'-
-In this craziness, you gave me life-
-This one feeling, how long can we protect it?-
-In this craziness, uncertainty-
-Where can we leave these forms of each and every person behind?-
-In this craziness, you gave me life-
-This individual form, how long can we protect it?-

-In this craziness, uncertainty-
-The yearnings of each person-
-In this craziness, you gave me life-
-A single radiance-
-In this craziness, uncertainty-
-The throbbing of each person-
-In this craziness, you gave me life-
-A single moving emotion-

-In this craziness, uncertainty-
-The looks of each person-
-In this craziness, you gave me life-
-A single coincidence-
-In this craziness, uncertainty-
-The warmth of each person-
-In this craziness, you gave me life-
-A single promise-

I'm borrowing Emily's digital camera for a project so I decided to steal some of the photos she took when we went to the Art Gallery of NSW, last Wednesday.

Rhiannon and myself. She was drooling over the Gravitation DVD and I don't know what I was doing. It was a long day -__- ZzzZZzzZZzzzzz

A picture of Margaret. She's so tiny, cute and one of the most polite people you'll ever meet! *fawns*

The woman herself, Emily! With a JB Hi-Fi sticker on her forhead. And behind her is Alyson, looking rather bored.

I took photos of my tablet. I stuck pictures under the plastic frame to make it prettyfull.

And a tiny bit of LOST banter... I am so chuffed that episode 16 of season 2 was a Locke-centric one. I've been holding out for one ever since episode 3. It was so nice seeing Helen again. Lockdown rocked my socks to the extreme.

Also the LOST soundtrack has finally come out and I am downloading it as I type this. I mainly want the soundtrack for the music that plays most of the time when Locke is having a moment. It is so moving as it builds up to the climax and it makes me teary and gives me goodebumps. A soft piano piece with violins for accompaniment. Because I am so nice I will share it with those of you who want to be shared with.

LOST Soundtrack - 19 - Locke'd Out Again.mp3 4.8mb by Michael Giacchino.

Whoever got the job of naming the tracks on the LOST soundtrack thinks themself a right funnly fellow or lass. With titles like 'The Eyeland', 'Charlie Hangs Around', 'Thinking Clairely', 'Shannonigans' and in a bad taste but yet ridiculously funny 'Booneral'. Yeay for LOST!!

I've been working on the background for an image I've been slaving over sporadically for around 6 months now. I am really glad that I have Corel Painter Essentials 2. It is most helpful.

I took this from trash80's journal. I can't believe schools are actually doing this.

I'm sure many people will remember this classic nursery rhyme:

Baa-Baa black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full.
One for the master and one for the dame,
And one for the little boy who lives down the lane.

Well, on last Wednesday night's edition of ABC's The Glass House, Wil Anderson read a news report that certain schools are replacing 'black sheep' with 'rainbow sheep' in order to avoid teaching any racial prejudice or stereotypes to children (hey, it's what the article claims, not what I think.) Wil decided to go the whole hog and come up with his own version:

The Politically-Correct Version of Baa-Baa Black Sheep

Bleat, bleat, creature of non-specific colour and species,
Have you any home-spun fabric?
Yes sir or madam, yes sir or madam,
Enough to share, but not in a communist way.
One is for the titled person of non-specific gender,
One is for the other titled person of non-specific gender,
And one is for the child of non-specific age, height and gender
Who co-exists in harmony with the lane, but not in a gay way.
