It's over. It's O.V.E.R.

Well, that camp thing is over. It felt great to sleep in until... 8 am. Yeah, I guess I'm not much of a sleeping in person, but it's still better than waking up at 6:45 every morning. No complaints, because I feel like a really different person now. My classmates' brains have been on hibernate all summer, while mine was up and running. In fact, it was working harder than it did during the actual school year. I also got really daring this summer. You see, Ileana's not the best with the speaking up thing. I really communicate the best when I'm not in my own environment. Meaning that I find it easier to talk to strangers than with people I see everyday, with the exception of my really close friends.

I actually agreed to give the speech for my class. I had like, 5 different versions in my head. I started writing it out 7 min before I was supposed to present it... Then my right index finger started cramping really, really bad. It was literally taped to the inside of my palm. I had to use my other hand to lift it back up. But then, I couldn't write so I improvised and rambled on while I was at the podium. At least I got a few laughs while I was up there...

Anywho, my point is that I totally <3 what I did this summer. I've done so many things that I normally wouldn't have done in my own environment. I've met so many awesome people. It's like one of those life changing moments. Really! Ileana's not the best at sentiments but this July was touching. I come home and read what people wrote about me, and it's all so sweet. Next summer will rock!

Highlights of Last Week @ Camp:
~Sunday: Performed 'My Immortal' on piano while another girl sang it.
~Wednesday: Field trip. Our class coincidentally stopped by this place that had TWO ddr extremes. YAY! got to do Speed Over Beethoven again.
~Thursday: Final Dance! Had a blast. Got to lie down and stargaze.
~Friday: My infamous speech. Awards night. Slideshow of the whole summer.

Today's News! I passed Kick the Can on standard. After getting my DDR extreme + pads back from my out of town friend(s), I got to test it out on my new ps2! The new console is so much smaller than my other one. So I've been playing a lot lately. I remember the first time... my friend (same friend as the one mentioned above) had a DDR party one holiday and I was totally mystified by the simplicity and genious of DDR. So I recieve the DDR EXTREME game + pads when it came out, but I kinda dropped it after that. Then I try it on an arcade machine and get re-obsessed and reclaim my dance equipment from my buddies. And today, I got my friend (different friend than above. sry if I'm confusing you. I'm confusing myself too.) to learn. She had a blast too! She also did awesome on my recently acquired Eye Toy.

Wow, it's late! *yawns* night, all.
