Hey all!
Been super busy with uni, study, not sleeping, and spending far too much time on youtube and playing iPhone games. To be fair, I've been trying to get into vlogging, mainly because I want to improve my public speaking skills and I think it would be a good way for me to learn to be able to criticise my public speaking. Anyway, I've been watching a lot of youtube channels to see how they vlog. They all make it easier than it looks. I mean, I don't want to, nor do I think I'm capable of doing all the funny little things all those famous vloggers can do, but I still want to be interesting. What I have gathered is that I do need to have a vague plan of what I'm going to say should I decide to vlog.
Anyway, I just realised I haven't really talked all that much about what's going on in my life. I've graduated! Woo! My graduation ceremony is next week :) yay. So photos will be up next week. I've started my Postgraduate Diploma in Science (Chemistry). I'm working at the Bio21 institute, which is affiliated with the University of Melbourne. My project is to do with sartans! I'm not really sure how much I'm allowed to talk about it, but sartans are pretty cool stuff. I'll blog about that another time.
Okay, so the reason for my post was I wanted to share a few cool things I've discovered that don't quite fit into the Fave Five Friday theme.
Youtube channels:
danisnotonfire and
amazingphil are two UK vloggers, who are friends with charlieissocoollike, nerimon, kickthepj and crabstickz, who are flat mates and do a lot of videos together. They're funny and nerdy and I've just discovered them.
iPhone games:
Since I don't have time to play computer / DS / Wii games, I've been playing iPhone games because they require no more than 10 minutes of my attention at any one time. (I play Pokemon on my DS, so it require several hours, also I've foregone playing my DS so I have time to read)
Anyway, games I recommend:
Tiny Tower
Pipe Roll (except I got stuck on world 6)
Snoopy's Fair (it's one of those Farmville-like games, but Snoopy is awesome, so I keep playing it)
Smurfs (same concept as Snoopy's Fair & Farmville, but again, the smurfs are so weird and adorable I can't seem to stop playing it)
Any of the Dash games, e.g. Diner Dash, Wedding Dash, Hotel Dash, Cooking Dash, the latter being my favourite
Games I'm yet to play:
Spy Fox --I've played the computer game version which is actually pretty fun for a kids' game
Spy vs. Spy --I loved this section in MAD as a kid, so upon seeing the game, I HAD to try it
~~Anyway, I need to catch up on my youtube subscriptions and go to bed. Night all!
