FWIW, compounded cream is not very expensive, even without coverage.

Yeah, I'm aware I have some pretty ridiculous compulsions regarding wasting anything. In this case, it was more like using that as an excuse to do something I kinda wanted to do anyway but couldn't otherwise justify, because I was nervous and excited about being unabashedly out at a professional event (well, at least that was the plan).

I just realized what you were talking about. I should not try to LJ while doing homework, nor should I project my worries of the moment onto innocent bystanders. So, yes, I will probably ask my endo about this at my next appointment in January if not sooner. Smart!
