So the BBC recently rather arbitrarily decided that Britpop was 20 years old this year, and amongst their celebratory programming was a top 40 of favourite Britpop anthems (which they then divided into a bottom 10 and a top 30, presumably because Steve Lamacq didn't feel like doing all 40 on his show).
