Ingredients WTF?
I'm looking at photos at work this week, in a data quality exercise. The Ingredients List must be included in these photos.
I was looking at one sample in particular, a flan with a cream based topping and nuts, when my eyes landed on one of the ingredients. I clicked to the next picture before my brain could register. Mustard. I went back: yes, it says Mustard. Who puts Mustard in a cake?
It turns out it was in the "May contain" section of the list. And it's the CYA mentality that gets you mustard in a cake.
Of course, now I want to make a cake with mustard in it to see what it would taste like...
