Devil's Food Cake
aka "Floor Cake"

1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
2 cups flour
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup cocoa mixed with 1/2 cup water.
Cream butter and sugar, add milk. Mix flour and baking soda, add to milk/butter/sugar. Beat for two minutes. Add eggs, vanilla and cocoa paste. Beat for 2 more minutes (important)
Pour into greased and floured pans, bake at 375ºF for 25-35 minutes.
