Layla returned to her room after the picnic with a big sense of dread. One of the problems of having 80 years of information pumped into your brain, is that you know when certain events are going to happen.
This was one of those times.

"Nice singing," he commenting, snickering from just outside the door.

Jitterbug into my brain
Goes a bang-bang-bang 'til my feet do the same
But something's bugging you
Something ain't right
My best friend told me what you did last night
Left me sleepin' in my bed
I was dreaming, but I should have been with you instead!

"Sure, sure," he said. "Just don't expect me to pay for the show."

Wake me up before you go-go
Don't leave me hanging on like a yo-yo
Wake me up before you go-go
I don't want to miss it when you hit that high
Wake me up before you go-go
'Cause I'm not planning on going solo
Wake me up before you go-go
Take me dancing tonight
I wanna hit that hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh!

What? It was a nice booty.
"Did you hit your head or something?" Not that he knew how she normal acted, but um... booty shaking.

So Layla continued to bounce and sing like there was no tomorrow!
You put the grey skies out of my way
You make the sun shine brighter than Doris Day
You turn a bright spark into a flame
My beats per minute never been the same
'Cause you're my lady I'm your fool
It makes me crazy when you act so cruel
Come on baby lets not fight
We'll go dancing everything will be alright!

"Okay," he said slowly, wondering if he should start getting worried. "I think I admire your lack of shame."
