Room 224: Saturday Evening

Jan 03, 2010 00:08

Layla returned to her room after the picnic with a big sense of dread. One of the problems of having 80 years of information pumped into your brain, is that you know when certain events are going to happen.

This was one of those times.

She sat down on the bed, just as the vent to the HVAC duct popped open once again revealing a gremlin with mirrored sunglasses and fashionable beard stubble.

Layla looked at the gremlin and let out a long sigh. "Go ahead," she said holding out her arm. "Let's get this over with."

The gremlin... looked a little bit confused. This was not how it usually worked.

"Fine. I'll get into character," Layla said rolling eyes. "Eek. A gremlin. Oh no. Whatever shall I do?"

Still not quite getting it, the gremlin shrugged and bit the girl anyway right before shaking his booty over to the vent to disappear.

A few minutes later a cheerful Layla was wearing a white t-shirt which read "CHOOSE LIFE" in big black block letters. She was bouncing around the room right before she began to sing into her hairbrush/microphone.

You put the boom-boom into my heeeeeeart!
You send my soul sky high when your lovin' starts!

[Door open. And for mocking if you're around this late...]

bit, george michael gremlin
