more me and dani just being...dumb
so yesterday dani called me to meet at baby's for some food since she got a gift card thing for doing a survey downtown. after we ate and got even more tattoos, we walked downtown a little and i got bored so we went to the mall. we wandered there for a while and listened to the hot topic guy explain swedish death metal to dani because apparently she likes it. whatever. we wanted out picture with the easter bunny, but it was too much money. lame. finally we left the mall and listening to fall out boy, as always, just a bit too loud. once we hit downtown we had both our windows down, we were just singing along to arms race like complete idiots until we came to a light when the song changed. of course at this light we were next to a restaurant with a crapload of people eating outside and then a bus right next to us with the windows slightly open. the song that came on next is one of dani's favorites [the canary coalmine as she calls it] so obviously we were both going to sing along quite loud and normally at lights i'll look over at dani and sing to her while making weird faces. this time though when i looked over i just saw some guy on the bus looking right at me so i just couldn't do it and there was no way i was looking over at all the people eating. so we both just kind of sang really loud like idiots knowing that there were quite a few people looking. dani said there was some girl on the bus just staring right at us, but i guess i can't really blame her. we do act like idiots. so after that we continued singing and dancing like idiots causing people to stare at us even while a guy who kind of looked like joe pulled up behind us on a motorcycle. then as im driving back to the apartment, we see rick. he goes in the back way, so we decide to go and surprise him. well, he went inside and still hadn't come out, so i pulled my car up behind his and dani's and parked it there, still with the windows and all down and on and playing fall out boy to block his car in since he was still working. first we tried to hide in dani's car since it was the one he was driving, but it just wasn't working so we got out and barely even hid in his car. like a year later he comes down and he's looking around like what the fuck? and actually i think that's what he said. all the while dani and i are just sitting in his car watching. after a moment or so, we open the door just laughing and the only reason he said he knew it was me was because of the music. haha. it was pretty amusing at the time, especially since he didn't see us just sitting in his car. after that we went to go play on the swings for a while and returned to driving around until it was time for dani to go to work. funfunfun. we're kinda dumb kids, but we have fun...
