Hi! I posted on the ikuta toma community, but yet to have any response and hope to get one here.
On the official hanakimi jdrama site, there was an interview of Ikuta Toma posted. I was wondering if there is anybody willing to spare their time translate this, please. I would certainly like to know of Ikuta's thoughts on the drama and character,

Q: The regular Nakatsu is really a comedic character, isn't he?
A: That's right. Personally, no matter what work I'm doing, I constantly feel "let's let something out," so for this I'm also trying to hold onto that feeling and act with all I've got. But, in comedy, there's actually a lot of subtle things that you can't show on the surface. People say "getting someone to laugh is harder than making someone cry," and I think it's true. The director also tells me "mess around as much as possible" so basically I have to obey (laughs).
Q: Is there a part of Nakatsu that you can empathize with?
A: I'm in Johnny's, so I'm used to being surrounded by guys, and I've had a lot of experiences where it's just a group of guys being friends. I think that Nakatsu is the kind of guy who likes that type of thing, and I am too. That aspect of us might be alike.
Q: It seems like it's really fun lively and fun on a set filled with hot guys.
A: On the set, I see everyone's faces and simply think "this is a drama that will make you excited." That a girl has slipped into a boy's school, you feel excited thinking "will she be found out?" and then there's the love affair, and also has the slapstick play of a school setting. I think that the original comic really has that all drawn in beautifully, so I think it'd be great if we could make an atmosphere that wouldn't lose to the original. When I was first introduced to him, the director said "I don't want to have viewers say that the drama is interesting. I want them to be entertained and be able laugh." It's a really small difference in the nuance, but I really want to give out the atmosphere that makes people think "that guy is sure an idiot" while still thinking, "but there's something good about him."
Q: What was your first impression of Horikita Maki when you saw her dressed as a guy to play the character of Mizuki?
A: I don't know if it's because my image of her was from what I saw in her dramas, but I had thought that she was a quiet person. However, she's really cheerful, very polite, and a cute person. She also looks good as a guy. She's like a bishounen.
Q: In the second episode, you have a kiss scene with Oguri Shun, who plays the character of Sano, but please tell us what we have to look forward to.
A: At the kiss scene, I got told by Shun-kun, "your lips are soft" (laughs). It's pretty life-risking. I think there's going to be lots of things to look forward to, and that there's something for everyone. We'll do our best to make it an interesting drama for you, like "please take any part that you like home with you!" Please continue to support us!
