Is it spring yet?
The weather is warming up and the rain has been falling (it ain't snow so I'm happy), the driveway has been washing down the hill and into the creek. Okay, I just realized that about half the time I've posted on here over the last few months I've been bitching about my driveway. *ponders*, I guess I need to start buying lottery tickets so I can get the damn thing paved. Moving on, been spending a lot of time outside in the yard with the kid after school when it's nice out. I do yard work he follows me around and helps a little and plays with sticks and things. Sunday we played in the mud in the creek and found two salamanders and one frog. We had a really nice weekend together and I was sad when it was over. I spent part of Monday at school wishing I had the kid with me and wanting to go home and cuddle with him. I also finally leveled the picnic table. There's a bonfire this friday at Jim Wade's to celebrate his birthday and I am soooo going. I need a night off and some time to relax with kids my own age. I also really want a morning I can sleep in! I love the kid and miss him when he's not around but really, he's gonna be asleep at 8. Time for mommy to have some fun!
Tanner is getting chubby. Since he's not running all over the county looking for tail he's gained some weight and it's great. He had lost more weight the week the neighbor's bitch was in heat 'cause he'd come home and eat a little then want to go right back outside. His ribs were all showing and just looked thin. Now he looks really good, still muscly and strong, just not that slightly neglected look.
