松本 : we did the recording separately, right..
櫻井 : yep, that’s why there isn’t much inside-story of it.. the rap lyrics were written with so many thoughts.. like considering special things only we both could do..
松本 : we perform it a lot in our concert this time, this song is good either for singing or dancing.

TV LIFE : As we flash back to 2017, which location did impress you so much?
櫻井 : it’s “Sho’s Journey” with [The Second Seashell Party] we went to Okinawa, the weather was nice and the sea was so beautiful.. I had a good time, there. it was right in the middle of busy days then I got there with Taichi-kun, and it really lighted up my mood.
松本 : I envy you.. it was obvious even from the first (seashell) party.
櫻井 : Masu (Taichi)-kun is someone easy to get along with, isn’t he?
松本 : no wonder we could feel your happiness as well just by watching it..
櫻井 : and your [THIS IS MJ] location seemed to be a thrilling place every time we saw it.. (laughs)
松本 : except the training of running method with Muro (Tsusyoshi)-san, they were almost strict battles. To be honest, I got burned out of it..
櫻井 : what a difficult job you got there. for action scenes, it’s not as easy as we see, right..
松本 : and honestly, I want them to give me some rest from doing MJ-battles in 2018.
TL : how about the prospect of “Sho’s Journey” next?
櫻井 : I hope I can have it like “Shell Party”. It will be awesome. Just don’t give something dreadful like climbing snowy mountain or stuff like that. Please give me a break with that.
松本 : and we can do something like “Sho’s Journey” for each member. Then having another member as company and that will be great, don’t you think?I guess it’s super fun If we can make stuff or observe something together.
TL : now let’s move to other things for instance the “Best Artist 2017”that was broadcasted the other day. That time, Arashi was in collaboration with Nokizaka 46.
櫻井 : Nokizaka 46 really gave us their all.
松本 : yeah.. even though, we did rehearsal with them only once in the evening before the real performance.
櫻井 : the song was [A.Ra.Shi] and we easily dance for it as we’ve been with it for 18 years. And because the dance of this song was meant for male and not for female, I think it will be hard for those girls. So we’ve been hugely grateful that they’re able to sing and dance for it perfectly.
松本 : yeah, and because this is not a song we often team-up with other artists for, it turned out to be a good collaboration, I suppose.
TV LIFE : Arashi will have to perform at the end of the year for NHK “Kohaku Uta Gassen” and Ninomiya-san will serve as the MC for White-Team.
櫻井 : I know that doing it solely will be different with the way we do it together as five.
松本 : this time around, Uchimura (Teruyoshi) san will be the prime MC for the show, I wonder how it will turn out.. it was the same thing with Aiba-san, last year. We’re proud of seeing one of us doing his best and give him what we can do as a support.
櫻井 : yeah, and we can’t wait to see how the white team will be with Nino..
