the things I have sewn - *Very* image heavy - and an obligatory doggie picture
So I finally have pics of the girls' dresses and the diaper bag that I finished this morning.
This is O'Bryen modeling her dress. It has 2 pockets in the front that you can't really see and ties that come around to the back, and, well, tie. She's holding a clay bear she made, and that's a car sticker on her chest.
This is Gavriella's dress from hell. It's beautiful though. I blame Simplicity for having very unclear directions. The dress comes to her ankles, but I made it a little big so she could wear it next year also. I think she'll wear it on Rosh Hashanah.
And now drum roll please for the diaper bag conceived, designed, and sewn by the seat of Fran's pants.

It's messenger bag-style, and as a result rather floppy. But it's so big I can fit, well, probably my dog. Actually yes she would fit.
Yes those are velcro closures. It's low-brow I know, but hey, I'm from Kentucky, kiss my ass.

Honestly, I am just super excited at how well the bag especially came out. Same goes for the dresses too, but the bag was completely my own creation and I did it! When the bag outgrows its purpose, I can use it as a regular bag, like for my knitting, or as a carry-on. Which is why I chose to make one instead of buy one. Now on to the doggie!

Gavriella and Rivka fell asleep on the chair like this about a month ago. The only reason why Rivka's eyes are open is because the camera woke her up. She had been sleeping in that position the whole time.
