The reason our monitoring system thinks that machine is unreachable must be something to do with the fw changes. I can reach it, so it's not down. If only the other workstuff I had to deal with was that easy. I'm very tired but it's worth it. I thought I wasn't going to Otakon, then I was, so I did. Of course, I didn't bring some stuff I needed since it was too late to go back home. I 'roughed it' and I made it and it was fine. It was fun, even if I didn't get to see the film I wanted to see. I can't get home fast enough. I saw some old friends and I scored a shirt out of the really poorly-arranged ADV shirt toss. I even gave some money to the artist commune that loves to hit up Georgetown folks for money.

It's only day two of twelve. argh.
