Wednesday was beautiful (for Alberta in January) and I decided to get out and do some caching around some errands I needed to run. I also realized I'd only cached on one day in January previously, so I wanted to fill in at least a couple more spots this year. I found 6 caches today. It took me WAY longer than I thought it would. I hunted for 4 that I failed to find, and passed up on 5 because I would have had to traipse through snow and I brilliantly wore runners today instead of boots. ( Read more... )

Up until now, the weather has been fairly fine for my geo-excursions. However, today we are getting our first real snowfall. While it will likely melt away, it reminds me that the lasting snows are not far off, and I wonder how much geocaching I will be able to do in the winter.
