Happy Anniversary to Me!
Today is Matt and my 2nd anniversary. To celebrate we went to NYC this weekend to see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. It was incredible. I saw it 10 years ago here in DC, and the show's special effects were better here, but just being in that gorgeous theatre in NY made it a unique and wonderful experience. Matt didn't care for the story or the music (HOW can you not like the music?) but he loved the costumes and, since we had front row tickets, he loved being able to see the orchestra.
Tonight we're going to our favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurant and then drinking some champagne on the couch with the boys while we catch up on some TV. Romantic, huh? :)
Oh, and I came in this morning to a bouquet of red roses. They're gorgeous and smell delicious...and consequently are making me sneeze. But I won't tell Matt that.
