i'm a bad lj friend.....
sorry that i have been so lame at updating this thing. life has really just been rapidly spinning by me and i can't believe that it is already april. i feel like i'm to blink my eyes and it will be christmas! aaaaaaa! my life has been pretty busy and i must tell you that i'm having a ball living up to my middlename (adventure!). i'll check this update pretty basic....
good:
-my vegas trip (all 18 hours of it) was AMAZING!
-i'm going up to portland to visit gordy and other friends this wednesday through friday (woohoo! voodoo donuts, the microcosm store, and powell's bookstore).
-we sold out our last roller derby bout!
-i ate the best vegan chocolate chip cookie today.
-i ordered the new snakepit comic and it should be coming in soon.
-i'm getting a decent sized tax return! yay! but.....i already spent it. i decided to spoil myself with an ipod shuffle (kind a piece of crap though), a new digital camera (which rules), and a new cellphone (my other one was 4 years old! and the memory was full on it from all those text messages that a really cute boy sent me....te he). that cut about 1/3 of the stuff that i have in my current wishlist out.
-i'm going to nyc in may!
bad:
-i freak'n cried at roller derby practice today. i fell REALLY hard on my tailbone two times in a row and hit my head (thank god i have a good helmet). it was one of those pains that as soon as you feel it the tears automatically come down your face. i think i made up for it in tuff point when i blew my hose on my shirt.
-my job is giving me nightmares. for real. i dreamt last night that one of my older clients had a heartattack on me. which isn't really that weird of a dream (just mostly scary) because i really thought that he was having one last night at work. good thing my boss signed me up for cpr classes next week.
whatever:
-we are having roller derby try outs right now which means about 40 girls fighting for 10 spots. the coaches are really pushing us and making us give 200%. i skated so hard last week that i got a nasty blood blister on my big toe (i was thinking of posting a picture but i didn't want to gross everyone out).
